To move entries from one journal to another, follow the steps below. Please note, entries may not be moved between a Shared Journal and a Private Journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revision History<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When moving an entry, only the latest revision will be moved, so any revision history from the original entry will be lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iOS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. From List view, swipe<\/strong> on an entry from right to left and tap Select<\/em>. This will invoke select mode<\/em>, and a circle will appear beside each entry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Tap the circle by each entry you wish to move. Alternatively, you can tap Select All <\/em> at the top left to include all entries in the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Tap Move\/Copy<\/em> at the bottom of the screen. Choose either Move to…<\/em> or Copy to…<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. In the journal picker that appears, select the journal to which you wish to move your entries.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    While viewing a single entry, tap the More button (\u2022\u2022\u2022) at the top right, then choose Move to…<\/em> or Copy to…<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    macOS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Display the journal pane by clicking its icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Select the entries you want to move to a journal. Use Command+Click to select multiple entries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Drag and drop them on the desired journal in the journal pane. -OR- Right-click and select Move > Then select Journal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      While viewing an individual entry, click the journal name at the bottom left to choose a different journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. In the List view, tap and hold an entry. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Tap Select<\/em>, and a circle will appear beside each entry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      4. Tap the folder icon with the arrow to select a journal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. In the journal picker that appears, select the journal to which you wish to move your entries.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Alternatively<\/strong>, while viewing an individual entry, tap the three dots<\/strong> (\ufe19<\/strong>) in the top right corner > Move<\/em> > select the journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Web<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        On Day One Web you have two options to move entries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Individual entries have an option to move the entry on the entry menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\t\t
