Markdown allows several simple text formatting options that can be written using plain text and display properly in Read views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Day One takes a similar approach to Markdown as GitHub. See <a href=\"http:\/\/github.github.com\/github-flavored-markdown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GitHub Flavored Markdown<\/a>.
