If you have something to report, please contact <a href=\"https:\/\/dayoneapp.com\/contact\/\">support<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"day-one-sync\"><b>Day One Sync<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re seeing any sync errors please see our <a href=\"https:\/\/dayoneapp.com\/guides\/day-one-sync\/sync-status\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Day One Sync Status <\/a>page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-day-one-for-windows-and-web\"><b>Day One for Windows and Web<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-location-data-from-mobile-apps-is-being-removed-when-editing-an-entry-on-the-web-or-windows-app\">Location data from mobile apps is being removed when editing an entry on the Web or Windows app<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Status<\/strong>: Reported to the engineering team for investigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workaround<\/strong>: Re-add the location via the mobile apps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_63da4e4090\"><b>Day One for macOS<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-same-entry-stuck-showing-when-opening-app\">Same entry stuck showing when opening app<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Status<\/strong>: Reported to the engineering team for investigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workaround<\/strong>:\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Close the entry by clicking the X at the top left of the entry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Switch to the Timeline view: <a href=\"https:\/\/dayoneapp.com\/guides\/tips-and-tutorials\/journal-views-in-day-one-for-macos\">https:\/\/dayoneapp.com\/guides\/tips-and-tutorials\/journal-views-in-day-one-for-macos<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Close the app<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_f24e6b220f\">Duplicate Tags<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Status:<\/b> Reported to the engineering team for investigation.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-converting-journals-to-end-to-end-encryption\">Converting Journals to End-to-End Encryption<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Status:<\/strong> Standard encrypted Journals cannot be converted to End-to-End Encryption<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workaround:<\/strong> Create a new journal with End-to-End Encryption enabled. Once created, move those entries from the standard encrypted journal to the newly created End-to-End Encrypted journal. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"day-one-for-ios\"><b>Day One for iOS<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-in-app-camera-defaults-to-zoomed-out-view\">In-app Camera Defaults to Zoomed out view<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Issue:<\/strong> When taking a picture using the in-app camera in the Day One iOS app (v.2025.25.1), the camera setting is stuck at the zoomed-out view.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Status:<\/strong> Will be fixed in v.2026.2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-screenshots-shared-directly-to-day-one-don-t-appear\">Screenshots Shared Directly to Day One Don\u2019t Appear<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Issue:<\/strong> When you take a screenshot on your iOS 26 device and use the Share option to send it directly to Day One, a new entry is created, but the screenshot is not included in the entry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Status:<\/strong> Will be fixed in 2026.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workaround:<\/strong> Save the screenshot to your device first, then open Day One and create a new entry, and add the screenshot directly in the app instead. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-converting-journals-to-end-to-end-encryption-0\">Converting Journals to End-to-End Encryption<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Status:<\/strong> Standard encrypted Journals cannot be converted to End-to-End Encryption<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workaround:<\/strong> Create a new journal with End-to-End Encryption enabled. Once created, move those entries from the standard encrypted journal to the newly created End-to-End Encrypted journal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-blank-on-this-day-widget\">Blank &#8216;On This Day&#8217; Widget<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Issue:<\/strong> The &#8216;On This Day&#8217; widget is blank, it just displays a black or blue background with no content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Status:<\/strong> Reported to the engineering team for investigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workaround:<\/strong> None at this time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-app-stuck-updating\">App Stuck Updating<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Issue: <\/strong>When trying to update Day One in the App Store the update becomes stuck while updating. This is a known issue on Apple&#8217;s end. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Status: <\/strong>Unknown as it needs to be resolved by Apple<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workaround:<\/strong> Please try the steps Apple has listed here: https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/102632<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_b08e374a92\"><b>Day One for Android<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-auto-correct-issue\">Auto-correct issue<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Issue:<\/strong> The autocorrect feature on the Samsung keyboard is not working.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Status<\/strong>: Reported to developers for investigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workaround<\/strong>: Use a different keyboard like Gboard or Swiftkey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"day-one-classic-version-10-obsolete\"><b>Day One Classic (Version 1.0) [Obsolete]<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several known issues with Day One Classic (version 1) when using the latest OS versions (iOS 11 &amp; macOS 10.13 or later). Day One Classic is no longer supported. We strongly encourage you to upgrade using these instructions: <a href=\"https:\/\/dayoneapp.com\/guides\/tips-and-tutorials\/upgrading-importing-from-day-one-classic\">Upgrading from Day One Classic<\/a>. Please see this guide: <a href=\"https:\/\/dayoneapp.com\/guides\/day-one-classic\/day-one-classic-is-retired\">Day One Classic is retired<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re interested in feature requests, see <a href=\"https:\/\/dayoneapp.com\/guides\/release-notes\/feature-requests\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Day One Feature Requests<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cross-platform-compatibility-errors-editing-unavailable\">Cross-platform Compatibility Errors (&#8220;Editing Unavailable&#8221;)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re continuing to add more features, and some may not yet be available on every platform. When you create an entry on one platform using such feature, and open it on another platform where that feature is not yet available, you may get an error message like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Editing Unavailable <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This entry can&#8217;t be edited with this version of Day One as it was created or edited on a newer version of the app or on iOS and contains features unsupported by the current app version.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>To edit the entry with an error like the above,
